The challenge

Reside’s growth came with operational bottlenecks, especially during peak seasons (May – September and around Christmas). The team faced three key challenges:
High Enquiry Volume Overload
In peak periods, Reside would receive over 150 rental inquiries per day, often overnight via platforms like Rightmove. These inquiries landed directly in their CRM, overwhelming staff the next morning and leading to missed opportunities. The agency risked losing high-value leads simply due to volume and lack of capacity.
Manual, Stressful Offer Handling
Negotiators handled dozens of property viewings daily, with offers being scribbled on notepads or phones. This process would lead to lost or mixed-up offers, delays in communication with landlords, and, eventually – lost deals. There was also no scalable method to create, confirm, and track offers digitally.
